Development Phases Print E-mail

Preparation

The first phase of product development is preparation. Any error made during this phase, will have an impact, light or severe, but it will cost. This is why CES thoroughly analyses the project, before selection. The following questions must be answered:
  • Is the CES customer relationship going to work?
  • Are we properly equipped?
  • Do we master the know-how?
  • Do we control the risks?

Action

The second phase of product development is action. It has to be quick, silent and totally controlled. Special project management methods have been developed over the years to provide the best compromise between bullet-proof and light-weight operation.

Analysis

The third phase of product development is analysis. For nearly thirty years, almost all of CES’ profit has been re-invested in people and equipment. These investments are guided by the improvements required after the delivery of the product or system, in order to provide more knowledge and means for the next potential program.

CES uses three proven phases for all product developments, which are then verified and controlled following the rules of ISO 9001.
