Customer
Advantages
The conceptual methods used by CES provide numerous advantages for our
customers:
- Reduction in cost: Users can concentrate on their own
application without any additional hidden cost for assembling and
integrating various elements, which usually come from four different
vendors (processor, interface, operating system, middleware).
- Reduction in risk: Dealing with just one company simplifies
problem identification and resolution. For important programs, CES may
act more as a partner than a subcontractor by transferring some of the
in-house technology. Another factor which reduces the risk is the
technology used (PowerPC and PCI technology, programmable logic
circuits, reconfigurable modular electronics - “smart” systems).
- Reduction in integration time: Users receive training,
which not only describes the operation of the system, but also explains
how to add their own elements. Specific training sessions include how
to generate custom applications with the intelligent programmable
PrPMCs (MFCC).
- Quick adaptation: CES has the capacity to adapt quickly and
effectively to changes in specifications due to its flexible and
multi-disciplinary structure (systems, electronics, firmware, drivers,
management).
Quality
Policy
Customer satisfaction has always been the driving mechanism for the CES
quality process. The best methods, adapted to the specific CES markets,
are implemented and improved continuously. They are based on
well-recognized quality system standards, such as ISO 9001 and now EN
9100, the aeronautical supplier’s reference.
Risk analysis, default anticipation and control over the entire
development and production chain, are the permanent objectives for all
CES employees, in order to provide zero default products and the
absolute best
service.
Guarantee
CES hardware is guaranteed for one year after delivery and is mainted
for at least ten years. Extensions
of warranty to three or five years for hardware are subject to
contract. Software releases can be frozen in specific quality plan
approved programs. Should some elements become obsolete, CES’ policy is
to replace the old element by another, which is, as nearly as possible,
functionally equivalent. Technical assistance is provided for the
transition.
